I'v been wondered a while why the word "Olympic" I read sounds different from the local people.
I find the difference today!
The problem is about "y". I'm trying to read it like "i"
And "m", I'm always tended to simplelise it to "n"
it comes to "lin" as PinYin, when I read it.
However, when local people read it, "y" sounds more like "Ә" and "m" needs read it completely, lips need to be closed.
So it's "lӘm", which we don't have in PinYin.
Now I feel better!
