买股票当然是高抛，低吸，挂单是必要的操作。可是今天我竟然发现有人改动了我的挂单价格！我3月17日挂的买入价格$27.5，在24日变成了$27.09。以这样的价格在3年之内我是买不到这支股票的了。更重要的是，我的申请交易价格竟然被改动了，这是不应该发生的事情啊！是有人盗用了我的账号？还是系统出了问题？我赶紧去问。得到的回答是这样的：

Now the case dates back to 2007, when the comedian was accused of making homophobic remarks to a same sex couple while I’m saying a show to. But he says his comments won’t discriminatory, and that they come with the comedy show territory if you know what I mean. Lisa Johnson ‘s been following this story from Vancouver, she joins me now with more. Lisa just remind me first of all the detail of what happened to that night, take me back.
Well, the instant happened in a restaurant with hosting at opening of mid night. So it was kind of functioning as a comedy club for the night. Comedian guy always on stage and complainer in the party was in the audients sitting with friends and her lesbian partner. And the owner said they were having drinks at the patio and moved inside. And the comedian says she started heckling him, so he shout back doing the argues what comedians do which is trying to say whatever they can and insulting or not to shut down that heckler. The complainer says what he said to her was intentionally humiliating and that was that she’s called tired rate sex homophobic remarks and directed her and her lesbian partner, insulting to them as same sex couple speculating their sex life and also insulting to them as women. Now the comedian has said since then he got heated, he regret what he said but that if you heckle, you should expect to be heckled back.
You know, I’m interested to know what the lawyer on both sides are arguing, because when you talking about a comedy acts, we are not really known as being politically correct. What tare their arguments?
Well, this is where gets tricky. Because the lawyer at the complainer side isn’t talking about a comedy club, she’s talking about a restaurant, relying on part of the BC human rights codes, it says, any person has right to access the service, the facility at without the discrimination on the basis of sex rate, sexual orientation. So their description of this case is someone who’s in a restaurant and who’s discriminated against on the basis of sex and sexual orientation by the people who should be providing a service to her. Now the lawyer for the comedian side says, he was not an employee of the restaurant, he was not providing a service, he was an artist who’s performing. And so if he’s found the remarks was found discriminatory, he could be subject to finds another punishment, if that what happen he says that will be eliminating his right to free expression under the charter. So you can imagine this is the case, not just comedians, but other performers are watching carefully.

2 for $8---思路上的差别
900g的Pizza，two for $8, it’s a good deal！ 我们打印了Safeway, Registered Customer的Coupon有备而来。我们买了一个Classic和一个Hawaii的Pizza还买了一些其他的食品，到Cashier处结帐。我们把Coupon交给她并叮嘱这是Pizza的。付完钱，老公都会把收银条给我再review一遍。果然，又不对了。两个Pizza应该一共比原价便宜$9，现在只减了$4.5。这样的差错我们不是碰到第一次了，而且在不同的西人超市都有碰到过。不过他们承认错误的态度通常是很好的，他们会道歉，并把差额退还给你。
我们一边在感叹自己的火眼金金，一边在评价着西人超市的诡计多端，总是让你看到一个价钱，买到的又是另一个价钱。“对呀”老公说，“那个Cashier说都是系统的问题，还谢谢我让她知道BAR CODE要照两下才对。”“系统的问题”，这是我在工作中听到最多的话。一直都有些反感，任何系统的问题人都是可以解决的，觉得他们总是推卸责任。不过回想大统华的收银系统，的确是不同的。他们在two for $$$的时候，都是在算第一件商品时按原价，而第二件商品是算两件商品的总价和已算商品的差价。这样你永远要买两件或两件的倍数的该种商品才能获得折扣。而西人超市的收银系统的操作是，每件商品先按原价计算，然后扫一下coupon就给一件物品的折扣。那也就是说，其实two for $$$，只是个噱头，如果你买一个的话也能得到一样深的折扣！对的，是这样，我以前买一件的时候他们就是这么算的。想到这里，我突然觉得西人超市非但一点也不诡计多端，而是傻得可以！
一直在试着比较到底是西人更聪明一点还是我们，一直也没有得到答案。总是觉得他们有的时候象天才、有的时候象蠢材，唯一不变的是，总和我们的想法不太合拍。
我试着再想想他们为什么要把系统设计成这样，我似乎也能为他们想到很多理由（跟他们在一起时间长了，多少也受些影响），比如，对买2个以上该种商品的顾客更应该鼓励，也要给他们一样的折扣；不能歧视买一个该种商品的顾客，大多数客户都是诚实的等等、等等。也许我就不应该，总是比较谁更聪明，思路的差别才是真正的差别吧。

We could just be a few hours away now from the biggest change in American health care in almost fifty years. This is a look inside the congruous building, that’s where the house representatives and now you see they’re debating this major health care bill. They’re expected to vote later on today, again, they’re looking for that magic number 216, if it pass it, it means health insurance for 32M uninsured Americans. Paul Hunter’s watching it all from Washington.
It’s very complicated, you know this thick kind of bill, the lot of people are confused about it. But, you know, if I can boil it down to its accents, the health insurance coverage in this country will grow, because more Americans will be forced to buy it. That’s what it all to boil it down to. Right now there’re couple of reasons why a lot of Americans don’t have health insurance. One, they can’t afford. So this bill will provide a subsidies to enable people to afford it, government subsidies. The other is, you know, people who are young and healthy, say, hey, why should I pay money for health insurance, I don’t need it, right? So as a result that’s why the insurance company have got all the other things in place, like denying coverage for people with pre-existing conditions. That will be out lawed under the new bill. But because we’re have all these customers, clients, people’s paying the money, they’re able to afford to providing insurance for pre-existing conditions. It’s kind of circular thing at the end of the day. But what it all boil down to is more Americans will have health coverage when all of sudden it does, 32M more. Right now to the embarrassment of many Americans, it is really the only you know developed country in the world doesn’t have this kind of health coverage force to citizen and this will end that, the redden it. Because almost got out of control of it. I mean, it’s kind of spectacle to sit back and watch it all you know but it is all coming to end after all this time. We’ll release as I say this stage. There will be a vote today, the expectation is, you know, on the key issue here, on the bill itself, sometime between dinner time and midnight. At that point, it can go to Obama’s desk for signing, and it becomes the law of the land. However, that doesn’t mean things will change for the United States in terms of health coverage effective Monday morning. The longest scale time line, you know, looks like this, although, some of the things will coming to effect immediately, for example, banning a life time coverage, some of the key stuff, including the things, I just talked about, forcing Americans to buy insurance by law and insurance companies not been able to deny coverage for people’s pre-existing condition, that doesn’t kick in till the year 2014. And by that time, we’ll have citizen midterm this year, another two years, another civil elections and that will be presidential election before this really kicks in. So the political landscape will be very different by the time the bill’s been voted on today actually comes in to effect.

New words I learned today: Debris (s不发音）
The first thing this morning searchers're back in the deep snow at the foot of Boulder mountain BC, making sure they haven’t missed any victims in Saturday’s avalanche. Two man from Alberta died in the slide, many more had to be rescue from beneath of snow. Investigators are trying to piece together what happened on mountain side. The CBC’s Lyndsay Duncombe is near by Revelstoke. Lyndsay.
Carole, right now just a few moments ago, we’re seeing the last of the snow machines being pulled off the boulder mountain. The RCMP helicopter bringing it to the place where people will collect them. In order to pick up the last 20, so machines that remaining, people will have to go with the police, as scored to claim their machine. That’s to avoid anyone are going and taking their machines on their own. Still very dangerous there as they go through now. They also kind of begin their sort of final search of the area to make sure there are no more victims until they get that debris out of the way. Clear the now or any blood or anything like that so they can go through. Then 5 teams of sniffed dogs will go through to make sure one last time there are no people on that mountain. It is expected that everyone is counted for. But this is the final last check. We do know that two people have died and another 30 are injured. It’s not expectable to see any more victims, but those dogs are up there just double checking to make sure.
Any reaction from the families of the victims, Lyndsay?
Well, one of the victims’ was there to speak to our colleagues in CBC radio today. And she is frustrated and angry as you can imagining. She’s saying that the organizer of this event have to take some responsibility and there should be more regulations and warning should be better communicated to participants. This family is from Alberta, especially a lot of these people are from out of town. She wanted better posting, so people could real have a greater sense of what they were getting into. And there are lots of calls today for better regulation out of the back country. For example, this family, this women who lost her husband says you know when we go quartering, we have to have a license and that’s not the case with the snowmobile here in British Columbia. So as the legislator tried to look to see if it is possible, it’s also a very vast area and there some calls from snowmobile committee saying even if there were regulations, there would be a difficult chance trying to enforce them. All of those questions being asked, in the sort of wake up of this horrible tragedy.

A pair of Canucks are making news off the ice tonight. These Sedin Twins have donated $1.5M. Teresa Tam has the story.
“Justin, the BC children’s hospital foundation is trying to build a new hospital for kids in this province and tonight they got some major help from a couple of hokey heroes.”
Known for their place on the ice, it’s the one they made off the ice that’s got people talking. The Sedin twins along with their wives donated 1.5M dollars to BC’s children hospital. It’s something they did quietly. Though they along with the rest of the Canucks are well know for their work with kids in the province.
“Two of their three children were born in Vancouver or in BC and I think, you know, I’m guess it will be wrong to suggest they don’t have strong connection to British Columbia after ten years of living here.”
The hospital is in the midst of the 201M dollar campaign to build a brand new facility. This is the PD intensive care unit of the hospital right now. Not enough space or privacy for parents caring for some of the sickest kids in BC. The money from the Sedins will focus on building a new ICU and provide diagnostics and imaging equipment.
“You know, also the critical importance with this gift is the profile of Daniel and Henrik, I mean they are super heroes in BC and the fact they’ve decided to make this gift not only gives our campaign great credibility but also helps us arise awareness.”
Fans say this active generosity makes them true super stars.
“You know that’s great to see them hokey players, I mean just create more pride for the Canucks team.”
“They backs to the communities and they just more than hokey players, go out actually do something for the community, especially when people are sick.”
It’s the third largest donation from individual for this campaign. The Sedins were out of town but will back tomorrow. And on on Friday.

他们不是假想敌
Dave两岁的时候从上海搬来加拿大跟我们同住，那时他非常霸道、固执、缺乏安全感。记得当时问他，“Dave要不要个小弟弟或小妹妹呀？”他会断然回答：“不要。我只要爸爸、妈妈喜欢我一个人。”
Lisa是我弟弟的女儿，比Dave小四个月。之前在上海，他们都同我父母住在一起。两个小家伙那时候一在一起就是抢，抢玩具，抢大人的抱抱，抢所有的东西；而我母亲说的最多的就是：“你不乖，我不喜欢你了，我去喜欢妹妹/哥哥了。”
现在一年多过去了，前几天我们开玩笑说要再给Dave一个小妹妹的时候，他高兴得说：“好呀，我们可以一起玩，我会喜欢她。”孩子都是白纸，是生活的烙印给他们留下的不同的颜色的吧。
现在两个小家伙都三岁多了，Dave在这里去Daycare，Lisa在上海上托儿所。托儿所的老师教小朋友很多东西，英语、歌曲、还有三字经等等等等。在家里她妈妈在教她乘法口诀表。Lisa学得很快，今年过年的时候，她已经是一口气能表演好多好多技能了。只是她不愿意去托儿所，在托儿所里她也不太愿意搭理别的小朋友。老师给她的评语是：聪明，接受能力强，但缺乏想象力。Dave在Daycare每天基本上都是玩，没有正规的计划说要教他们什么，只是在游戏间Daycare的老师会有一句，没一句得说些小知识给他们听。Dave很高兴去Daycare,因为那里有朋友、有游戏，还有Party。前天他回来告诉我，他亲了他的同学，因为他喜欢他。昨天他回来问我：“妈妈，为什么Aunty Betty说，Crab不是住在水里的？”
我看到我的孩子在渐渐得打开心门，他对一切都充满了好奇，他喜欢接纳新朋友，新知识。他的哭闹变少了，快乐变多了。
没来加拿大之前就听说很多人是为了孩子才选择加拿大的。我不太明白为什么，是为了有更多的机会上世界顶级大学？还是有机会赚大把美金？这就是好吗？来这里后，我一直在比较两边的优缺点。看看两个孩子的成长，我在想我会选择怎样的童年。
国内的环境充满了竞争，不进则退。在公司同事间，在家里亲戚间，在社交场所朋友间，竞争每分每秒都在，我们只有一个信念：“我不能输！”于是所有的人都成为假想敌。我不能输，我的孩子更不能输，于是孩子从小就开始奔跑，在他们还没有学会走路的时候。
每次同母亲同电话，她都会问Dave又学会了什么新本领。然后说小lisa学了什么什么的。以至于当我想到要回国探亲，Dave将会被团团围住考察有那些本领时，我都有些透不过气来的感觉，我都犹豫了。

Lisa是我弟弟的女儿，比Dave小四个月。之前在上海，他们都同我父母住在一起。两个小家伙那时候一在一起就是抢，抢玩具，抢大人的抱抱，抢所有的东西；而我母亲说的最多的就是：“你不乖，我不喜欢你了，我去喜欢妹妹/哥哥了。”
现在一年多过去了，前几天我们开玩笑说要再给Dave一个小妹妹的时候，他高兴得说：“好呀，我们可以一起玩，我会喜欢她。”孩子都是白纸，是生活的烙印给他们留下的不同的颜色的吧。
现在两个小家伙都三岁多了，Dave在这里去Daycare，Lisa在上海上托儿所。托儿所的老师教小朋友很多东西，英语、歌曲、还有三字经等等等等。在家里她妈妈在教她乘法口诀表。Lisa学得很快，今年过年的时候，她已经是一口气能表演好多好多技能了。只是她不愿意去托儿所，在托儿所里她也不太愿意搭理别的小朋友。老师给她的评语是：聪明，接受能力强，但缺乏想象力。Dave在Daycare每天基本上都是玩，没有正规的计划说要教他们什么，只是在游戏间Daycare的老师会有一句，没一句得说些小知识给他们听。Dave很高兴去Daycare,因为那里有朋友、有游戏，还有Party。前天他回来告诉我，他亲了他的同学，因为他喜欢他。昨天他回来问我：“妈妈，为什么Aunty Betty说，Crab不是住在水里的？”
我看到我的孩子在渐渐得打开心门，他对一切都充满了好奇，他喜欢接纳新朋友，新知识。他的哭闹变少了，快乐变多了。
没来加拿大之前就听说很多人是为了孩子才选择加拿大的。我不太明白为什么，是为了有更多的机会上世界顶级大学？还是有机会赚大把美金？这就是好吗？来这里后，我一直在比较两边的优缺点。看看两个孩子的成长，我在想我会选择怎样的童年。
国内的环境充满了竞争，不进则退。在公司同事间，在家里亲戚间，在社交场所朋友间，竞争每分每秒都在，我们只有一个信念：“我不能输！”于是所有的人都成为假想敌。我不能输，我的孩子更不能输，于是孩子从小就开始奔跑，在他们还没有学会走路的时候。
每次同母亲同电话，她都会问Dave又学会了什么新本领。然后说小lisa学了什么什么的。以至于当我想到要回国探亲，Dave将会被团团围住考察有那些本领时，我都有些透不过气来的感觉，我都犹豫了。

A warning about changing natural gas providers. Hundreds of British Columbias have signed up with new companies without meaning to and now facing hefty bills. Our go public reporter, Kathy Tomlinson has the details.
For months, Samantha Badry didn’t realize she switched to a new gas company charging double the going rate.
“That’s huge money.”
She simply gone on line to enter a contest.
“You enter your address, and you enter your current gas provider which at the time was terasen. And you know I just thought I was entering to win a free TV.”
Click, click, click and she signed up to buy gas from universal energy at a fix rate for 5 years.
“So now I locked into this contract that I can’t get out of.”
She wasn’t read what she was get into.
“I never signed a contract. And what they’ve been telling me over the years is that but I did signed a contract. An online contract.”
The bill still come from her old company, because it’s still delivers the gas. Her fix rate deal so far has cost her $800 over market rates which she still be paying if she hadn’t switched.
“I don’t want to be throwing away money. I definitely don’t want making this company rich. I want my money back and I want out my contract.”
16,000 BC customers have filled disputes over similar contract with several companies. There’ve been complains in other provinces too about door to door sales tactics. A spoke person with the company badry signed up for says unhappy customers should be able to cancel with the penalty like a mortgage. Here in BC though, it’s the provincial regulator that want to allow it. That’s because Terasen the biggest supplier of jacks, it don’t want the sudden cost of providing gas for all those returning customers.
“Terasen buys it’s gas on an annual basis. So by breaking those contract, they could impact portion of the bill, that could impact the gas prices all of our customers.”

Many way their entire lives to be a part of the Olympics, but sadly Leo Obstbaum was achieved of that opportunity. The man who designed the look of the Vancouver Games was died before they began. Chris Brown has his story.
“Well, he’s changed the Olympic look for ever.”
“He was such a energy and force.”
“If I knew the day that I met him that this was gonna happen. I still would’ve done it.”
When John Montgomery stood on the podium to collect his medal, when kids posted with the Olympic Mascots and when thousands carry the Olympic torch, without ever realizing that they were all living the Olympic vision of one man.
“Hello, my name is Leo Obstbaum.”
Leo Obstbaum was the create director of the 2010 game. Perhaps more thought than anyone, he was responsible for this distinctive work of the games. And of it’s now iconic symbol, the medals, the sporting logos and the blue green background colours.
“He’s everywhere and he’s in everything. He’s on every documents, he’s in every book, he’s on everything. And feels great that we have that.”
Obstbaum was an Argentina who grew up in Span and then fell in love with British Columbia. He died on an unexpectedly heart attack six months before opening day. He was just 39.
“They don’t know. His heart stopped.”
He left behind his daughter, Decota and his wife, Mounnise.
“He manage to figure out way to make what he saw in his head become real.”
Obstbaum’s closest collaborator in the Olympic team was Ally Gardener.
“He has a daughter and he love that concept that bring mascots to level that they would automatically been seen on adult and child alike.”
The Olympic podium was perhaps his favorite creation made in BC wood, shape like Vancouver island.
“I know he would’ve said with few tears too because he’s very motional and I think when seeing that athletes win that medals would’ve make him very proud.”
“He was comforting and to be able to see how much everybody else got to enjoy it, was extra special because he wasn’t just me thought he was amazing, you know, people for everywhere.”
“He’s real cool. He looks big like the count.”
After he died, his colleagues laughed and cried look back the brilliant mind who died too young. Comforted by knowing that of the many Olympic legacies left Vancouver, his vision was seen and appreciated by hundreds and millions of people who watched.

The parents of Ashkan Sultani held a memorial for their son tonight in British Columbia. The 15year old committed suicide in Jan. Now sultani’s school district wants his parents to endorse anti suicide program. But they say that’s avoiding the real issue. CBC’s Susana Desovior has the story.
Instead of 16th birthday party, Ashkan Sultani’s family is holding the memorial for him. Sultani was musician, his drum and keyboard are still setup at the living room. On Jan 12th, he hand himself. His parents say because of relentless bully.
It was physical abuse first at other school. And eventually became all verbal. Verbal and very degrading.
The more sensitive kids are, the more sensitive and shy and you’re not rude. You don’t speaking back, that’s get picked on more.
Sultani even switched high schools, but his parents say bully didn’t stop.
The school district says the bulling is discuss part of the curriculum. Teacher are talking how do I identify harass and enervation. And students are encourage to participate inside wear pink days and be friend days. Those programs are all now be reviewed. But this anti bully expert says there is no real evidence says such programs even work. And no way to measure them because they all so different.
But there’s also environment of the large society. We seem to think the school can solve that problem too. And we can’t.
The Sultani’s upset by school’s reaction to their son’s death. The board asked them to take part in the suicide prevention camp ion. And they said no.
We want bullying and suicide together. All awareness and training and education on it.
We want to acknowledge the bullying. And base my own experience. Bullying issues are much deeper, much darker.
Our experience says that something like suicide is very complex matter. And it’s very seldom that single incidental even one type of the issues gonna lead towards sort of tragic.
Well, it’s too late to save their own child. Sultani’s hope the story might save someone else.

I believe that’s the last day you’re going to see that’s the thing, the mass exit’s began, as tens of thousands of athletes and spectators bid the game and Vancouver goodbye. The CBC’s Justin Ma’s just outside of the Vancouver airport. She joins me live. “Justine, how are things going there?”
“Carol, the things are surprisingly calm out here. It’s the same scene inside the terminal. But don’t let the scenes discerns you because airport official say this is expected to be their busiest day ever. Up to 39,000 passengers are expected to fly out of here today. Now the big push was early this morning. There were a lot of domestic flights leaving at that time. A line up sort of fairly long. But most people seem to be checked in within the hour. Activity in the domestic terminal seems have ease right now. But things are picking up over the international terminal. I’ve spoken to a lot of passengers and everybody remark about how calm and efficient things seems to be running over here.”
“So what co operations were made to help these travelers home and make it as calm as you say it is?”
“Well. Airport officials has planned this for years. They expected this day to be the busiest day for years. And they planned accordingly. They actually have thousands of extra staff working whether that would be volunteers, airline staff, just helping process people more quickly. They’ve also opened up full checking facilities at the athletes village, so lots of people probably are going through there. They also opened the observer terminal just at the back of the airport, so that’s probably why we’re not seeing them massive crash here at this terminal, because it divided between those three locations.”
